Provincial Advisory Council on Seniors & Continuing Care

Council members are Albertans who have personal interactions with or who are caregivers for clients in continuing care.

They are volunteers who assist AHS by:

  • considering and providing evidence-based suggestions to AHS in the development of AHS’ seniors and continuing care health plans.
  • providing a vehicle to identify existing and emerging seniors and continuing care health issues.
  • providing advice to AHS on ways to improve quality, access and sustainability of seniors and continuing care health services in Alberta.
