The Obstetric Medicine Clinic is located in the basement (level G), hallway A, of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women (LHHW), which is part of the Royal Alexandra Hospital campus. LHHW is in the Robbins Pavilion on 111 Ave across from the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.
From the 111 Ave entrance, take the elevator to the basement (G). Once on level G, check in with Women’s Clinic Reception.
From the front entrance of the Royal Alexandra Hospital, take the glass elevator to the 2nd floor. Off the elevator, turn right and walk past the atrium (garden area). Head towards the Robbins Pavilion pedway, keep walking towards the end of the hallway, past the resource center, and take the elevator to the basement (Level G). Once on level G, check in with Women’s Clinic Reception.
Appointments may be in-person or virtual (telephone call or video call).
An in-person clinic consultation appointment may be up to 1.5 hours, while a follow up appointment may only be 15 minutes. During this visit, a nurse will review your medical history and a physician will see you as part of your assessment.
The Royal Alexandra Hospital is a teaching hospital, so you may also see medical residents and healthcare students as members of your care team.
