The Maternal Fetal Medicine – Fetal Echo Clinic is on 5West on the 5th floor of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women (LHHW), which is part of the Royal Alexandra Hospital campus. LHHW is in the Robbins Pavilion on 111 Ave across from the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.
From the 111 Ave entrance, take the elevator to the 5th floor. Turn left off the elevator and follow the signs to 5West.
From the front entrance of the Royal Alexandra Hospital, take the glass elevator to the 2nd floor. Off the elevator, turn right and walk past the atrium (garden area). Head towards the Robbins Pavilion pedway, keep walking towards the end of the hallway, past the resource center, and take the elevator to the to the 5th floor. Off the elevator, turn left and follow to 5West.
A clinic visit may take 60 minutes to several hours. During this visit, a member of the healthcare team will review your medical history and a physician will see you as part of your assessment.
The Royal Alexandra Hospital is a teaching hospital, so you may also see medical residents and healthcare students as members of your care team.
