Who We Are

Northeast Community Health Centre

The Northeast Community Health Centre (NECHC) officially opened in January 1999. An integral site within the Edmonton Zone, the NECHC provides integrated services and promote partnerships so patients and families in north Edmonton can access appropriate health services and related resources in their own community to improve health and well-being.

Today, the site has over 250 staff and physicians and over 75 active volunteers. The NECHC is home to a 24-hour emergency department (ED), public health and mental health services, as well as clinics that focus on family, women’s, seniors and pediatric health.

On average each year our emergency department receives over 53,000 visits, providing emergent and urgent health services to people of all ages and diverse medical conditions.
