CCSC provides screening-related colonoscopies to asymptomatic, generally healthy individuals who are eligible for screening based on accepted clinical practice guidelines, including the AMA’s Toward Optimized Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines on colon cancer. Colonoscopy services are provided for the investigation of a positive fecal test, screening colonoscopy for those at average or increased risk of colon cancer and surveillance colonoscopy for those with a prior history of adenomatous polyps or colon cancer.
