First and second dose drop-in COVID-19 immunization clinics in Calgary for those 12 to 17 years of age

No appointments necessary for first and second dose COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine immunization for this age group

CALGARY – Alberta Health Services (AHS) is offering no-appointment, first and second dose COVID-19 immunization clinics with Pfizer vaccine at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre and the Genesis Centre, from Wednesday, July 21 through Monday, July 26, 2021.

Youth born in 2004 to 2009 are eligible to receive their first dose of Pfizer vaccine, and second dose Pfizer vaccine (second dose at least 28 days after first dose) on a drop in basis at these clinics.

The clinics will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including through the weekend of July 24 and 25.

Youth in this age group who have not had a first or second dose of COVID-19 vaccine are encouraged to attend the clinics at:

There will be 1,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine at the Telus Convention Centre and 500 doses of Pfizer vaccine at the Genesis Centre for those attending these clinics.

Those attending these clinics are requested to bring parental consent downloaded from the Alberta Health Services (AHS) website or to provide staff at the clinic with a number to call a parent/guardian to obtain consent if the parent/guardian is unable to accompany them.
