Walk-in clinic open for first-dose COVID-19 immunization in Camrose

July 13, 2021

CAMROSE – Albertans can receive their first dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment at the Camrose Assessment Centre, 5510 46 Ave.

The clinic will be held every Friday starting July 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

To see other COVID-19 immunization clinics in Central Zone, please visit: https://www.albertahealthservices.ca/topics/Page17295.aspx#walkin.

Due to a larger supply of the Moderna vaccine product currently available, eligible Albertans 18 years and older will be immunized with the Moderna vaccine at this site.

We encourage eligible Albertans to protect themselves and others by being vaccinated as soon as possible. Please bring your Alberta Health Care card if you have one, along with photo ID. You will be required to wear a face mask and use hand sanitizer when visiting the site for your immunization.

Second doses are not available at this walk-in clinic.

To date, approximately 3,400 Albertans have chosen Moderna as their second dose after receiving Pfizer as their first dose so that they can complete their vaccine series faster.
Moderna and Pfizer are both mRNA vaccines and work in the same way. These vaccine products are considered to be interchangeable.

Please do your part in helping keep our communities as safe as possible. It is vitally important for all of us to remain vigilant in the fight against COVID-19.
