Public invited to share views about local healthcare delivery

Feedback welcome at meeting of Greater Edmonton Health Advisory Council

EDMONTON– Local and area residents are invited to attend a meeting of the Greater Edmonton Health Advisory Council (HAC) on May 24th.

This is an opportunity for the public to meet council members, provide feedback on health services, share views about local healthcare delivery and propose ideas for improvements.

There is an opportunity during the meeting for public feedback that is shared with local Alberta Health Services (AHS) leaders in attendance.

The meeting runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Our Parents Home at 10112 119 St NW, Edmonton, AB.

HACs play an important role in supporting the strategic direction of AHS by engaging members of their communities throughout Alberta in a respectful, transparent and accountable manner. Public participation is essential to improving the quality and accountability of health services. Working in partnership with AHS is an important way to ensure that services are more responsive to the needs of those who use them.
