FORT McMURRAY — Parents, teachers and students will have an opportunity to learn more about self-care and mental health as Fort McMurray residents return to school after the spring wildfire, during a Twitter chat hosted by Alberta Health Services (AHS).
Dr. Sandra Corbett, AHS North Zone Clinical Program Head, Addiction & Mental Health, will answer questions related to back-to-school mental health. The Twitter chat will take place on the AHS_NorthZone Twitter account on Tuesday, Sept. 13 from noon to 1 p.m.
Join the conversation or follow along at AHS_NorthZone on Twitter or by using the hashtag #healthymm. This AHS forum is for general questions only. People seeking personal medical advice should contact their local health care provider or call Health Link at 811 to speak to a registered nurse 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
AHS_NorthZone is where Twitter users can find information, programs and services related to northern Alberta. Health information specific to residents in various regions across the province can be found at AHS_YEGZone, AHS_CentralZone, AHS_YYCZone and AHS_SouthZone.
