Many parking options at Chinook Regional Hospital

November 14, 2011

LETHBRIDGE – Residents are reminded of changes to parking in and around Chinook Regional Hospital.

Patients and visitors to the hospital are advised to first consider using the new four-level parkade or the surface lot immediately south of the parkade. Rates for the 810-stall parkade and surface lot are 75 cents per half-hour, or $6 per day.

On the surface lot, there is longer-term parking available with weekly passes for $25 from the Pay & Display machines.

Monthly parking passes for the surface lot are $66 and available from the Parking Office in 3K-156 Room 225 in Auxiliary Wing. The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Disabled parking stalls are located on each level of the parkade. While the elevators in the parkade are still under construction, additional disabled parking stalls have been added to the main level of the parkade. There are also 15 disabled parking stalls in the surface lot near the Auxiliary Wing and north entrance of the hospital.

There are only a limited number of available parking stalls on the streets on the hospital perimeter. Visitors are advised to pay close attention to signage. Parking permits are required and available from the Parking Office. Vehicles without the proper permit may be ticketed by the City of Lethbridge.
