VERMILION – Local residents now have increased access to primary care with the arrival of two new physicians to the community.
Dr. Akrm Krimeed is a general practitioner with anesthesia (GPA) and is the second anesthetist to join the Vermilion Health Centre. He also provides services in the emergency room as needed.
Dr. Ashraf Al Oud practises family medicine during clinic hours, and provides hospital coverage in acute and long-term care, and emergency.
“We are excited to welcome these two exceptional physicians to our community,” says Garth Rowswell, MLA for Vermilion-Lloydminster-Wainwright. “Dr. Al Oud and Dr. Krimeed are great additions to our local care team and will play a significant role in providing access to primary and emergency care for our residents.”
Both of these physicians have joined the healthcare teams at Midtown Medical Clinic and Vermilion Health Centre. The Midtown Clinic now has five physicians.
