PONOKA – There is an update to the temporary overnight closure of the Emergency Department (ED) at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre, as shared in a PSA sent on June 14, 2024. The ED was to be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, until 8 a.m. on Monday, June 17. Physician coverage has been secured, and the ED will now remain open as regularly scheduled.
