New recruited physician practicing, accepting new patients in Rimbey

RIMBEY – A new physician is bringing improved access to care to local and area residents.

Dr. Jude Unuafe is a general practice physician (GP) working from the Rimbey Care Centre and from the Rimbey Medical Clinic at 5046 49th Ave. He is accepting new patients and can be reached at 1-403-843-2256.

With Dr. Unuafe’s arrival, Rimbey now has seven physicians practising in the community.

“The arrival of a new GP is wonderful news,” says Jason Nixon, MLA for Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre. “Dr. Unuafe and his family are a welcome addition to the community and he is sure to be a great asset to Rimbey and the surrounding area.”

Dr. Unuafe received his medical training in Nigeria and previously practiced in Nigeria and South Africa.
