Toys for Tickets

In keeping with the holiday spirit, Alberta Health Services (AHS) is bringing back the Toys for Tickets campaign, which gives people who’ve recently received an AHS parking ticket an opportunity to donate a new, unwrapped toy rather than paying their fine.

Anyone who received an AHS parking ticket at many AHS parking facilities (visit ahs.ca for list) between November 6 and December 15, 2023 can take a new toy and their ticket to the local AHS parking office. AHS parking staff will mark the ticket as paid and the toys will be donated to various children organizations and local charities throughout Alberta that provide toys for children.

Toys will be accepted under the following conditions:

  • Ticket must have been issued between November 6, 2023 and December 15, 2023.
  • Toys must be new and in original package, unwrapped and for ages newborn to 17
  • Of similar value to the amount owed on the parking ticket (value of each toy must be at least $25).
  • No toys will be accepted after December 15.

Toys can be dropped off at any parking office during office hours from November 6 to December 15, 2023. Visit our Parking page for AHS parking office hours and locations.

For more information, please call AHS Parking Services at 1-855-535-1100.

Please note: AHS parking offices cannot accept any cash donations; toys only.

AHS Thanks 2022 Donors to Toys For Tickets Campaign

In 2022, Alberta Health Services (AHS) collected more than 470 toys across the Province for the Toys for Tickets campaign. We wanted to thank everyone who donated a toy rather than pay their fine and in the process help put a smile on a child’s face.
