Water quality advisory lifted for McGrane Beach on Lac La Biche Lake

LAC LA BICHE – Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the water quality advisory that was issued July 14, 2022 for the water of McGrane Beach on Lac La Biche Lake (within the North Zone of Alberta Health Services (AHS).

Water quality has returned to an acceptable level and the health risk is low for usage of the beach for recreational purposes.

As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake or reservoir, at any time.
