Appointment booking begins tomorrow

ST. ALBERT – Starting Monday, December 6, Alberta Health Services (AHS) will offer COVID-19 immunizations for 5 to 11 year olds at the St. Albert Public Health Centre, at 23 Sir Winston Churchill Ave.

Families can book appointments through the Alberta Vaccine Booking System or by calling Health Link at 811, beginning Friday, December 3, 2021.

This is an appointment-based clinic only. Immunizers will be administering the Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 vaccine.

This clinic has been set to support 5- to 11-year-old access to the COVID-19 vaccine within and around the St. Albert community. Immunizers will only have the 5- to 11-year-old pediatric COVID-19 dosing available at this site.

Albertans 12 and over can receive their COVID-19 vaccine at a participating pharmacy or another AHS clinic. Appointments can be booked at COVID-19 vaccines and records.

We encourage all Albertans to protect themselves and others by being vaccinated as soon as possible.

Please bring your child’s Alberta Health Care card if you have one, along with parent/guardian ID. You will be required to wear a face mask and use hand sanitizer when attending the site for immunization.

Please do your part in helping keep our community as safe as possible. It is vitally important for all of us to remain vigilant in the fight against COVID-19 and to follow public health guidelines at all times. This includes maintaining physical distancing and masking.

If you are experiencing symptoms, stay home and arrange for COVID-19 testing through AHS.ca or by calling 811.
