Three day, first dose COVID-19 immunization blitz at Telus Convention Centre

CALGARY – Alberta Health Services (AHS) is offering no appointment, first dose COVID-19 immunization clinics over a three day period at the Telus Convention Centre today, tomorrow and Thursday (June 8, 9 and 10).

Please take note – these clinics are for first doses only and up to 2,000 Pfizer immunizations per day can be provided. Protect yourself, protect others – get vaccinated today!

If you haven’t had a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, you are encouraged to attend the Telus Convention Centre clinic at 136 8 Ave. S.E. between 8:20 a.m. and 7:20 p.m. on those three days.

The City of Calgary is providing 90 minutes of free parking when you use the pay machine or MyParking app. Those who are using transit to the Telus Convention Centre for immunization will receive two transit tickets as they leave the building.

Please bring your Alberta Health Care card if you have one, along with photo ID. You will be required to wear a face mask and use hand sanitizer when attending the site for your immunization.

Please do your part in helping keep our community as safe as possible. It is vitally important for all of us to remain vigilant in the fight against COVID-19 and to follow public health guidelines at all times. This includes maintaining physical distancing and masking.
