The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital provides a wide range of learning opportunities for students.
There are four categories of students: non-medical interns / residents who are completing formal training at the Glenrose as part of a post-graduate degree program from a Faculty other than Medicine, i.e. Psychology, practicum students who are registered in formal training at a university leading to qualification.
Placement can be part-time or full-time from one week to four months, qualifying professionals who have completed their educational requirements but require work experience for certification/registration in Alberta, and professional development where in- or out-of province/country observers wish to update their clinical knowledge in their own discipline or to gain knowledge.
