For Your Appointment

  • Remember to bring your Alberta Healthcare card and a valid piece of photo ID.

Parking Information

Drop off location in front of the Women’s Health Centre is area J. The nearest public parking pay lot to the Women’s Health Centre is the East lot. A ticket can be purchased in the pay lot or at the entrance to the buildings.

Finding Us

When coming onto the Foothills Medical Campus from the East Entrance, turn on to 29th Street NW and then into the Emergency Entrance. The Women’s Health Centre is to your immediate left.

When coming onto the Foothills Medical Campus from the West Entrance located just off 16th Ave NW, exit onto West Campus Boulevard and follow Hospital Drive. The Women’s Health Centre will be to your right (just past the McCaig Tower and University of Calgary Medical Clinics).

At the Entrance to the Women’s Health Centre, turn left. The Early Pregnancy Assessment clinic is on the main floor of the Women’s Health Centre in room 185.

What to Expect

You will see a family counsellor who has experience in supporting families who have had a pregnancy or infant loss.

Mementos for Families After a Loss
Our program supplies Calgary and area hospitals with mementos such as memory boxes, baby clothing, and blankets, to help families cherish and remember their baby over time.

Groups

Caring Beyond
Offers peer support to parents who have lost a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death and termination due to poor prenatal diagnosis. Learn more, visit Caring Beyond.


Memorial Services

Events

Silent Hopes Memorial Service, AHS
Service to honour the loss of pregnancies 20 weeks' gestation and under. Service is held twice a year (Spring & Fall). 

Service of Remembrance, AHS
Service to honour pregnancy losses over 20 weeks of gestation. Service is held annually.
