This is a drop in service
Parents wanting to speak with a nurse about their child’s health are welcome to drop-in to speak with the office nurse on call. Parents are also welcome to have their child weighed and measured without an appointment. For parents of babies from birth to two months of age, please call and ask to speak with a Healthy Beginnings nurse.
The Drop In for New Mothers/Families and Infants is located in Public Health, on the first floor of East Edmonton Health Centre by the north doors
You will meet with a public health nurse who will be able to answer any questions regarding growth, nutrition, common health concerns, or parenting issues for your infants and toddlers.
The public health nurse can help connect clients with additional resources as needed (for example, a car seat technician).
