Performance Report Navigation Help

The Alberta Health Services (AHS) Performance Report is a standalone document with additional features that allow you to access more information when viewing it online.

You can Navigate Easily from Page to Page and Indicator to Indicator

When viewing the report online, you can navigate easily from the AHS Performance Dashboard to a performance indicator and back again through active links provided in the document. When viewing the main AHS Performance Dashboard, simply click on any indicator name (highlighted in blue) to be directed to more detailed information on that indicator. Once there, you can return to the Dashboard view by scrolling down to the bottom of the indicator page and clicking on the blue link provided.

Want Even More Detail?

When viewing the indicator page you will find links (highlighted in blue) to more details. For instance, clicking on “site” or “zone” links will bring you to a page detailing information that will help you understand how performance at a local level changes over time. It is important to note that zone or site performances will differ from each other due to many factors such as population age distribution, geography, complexity of cases presented and so on.

What are the Indicator Definitions?

The indicator page also provides a link to the AHS- and AHW-approved definition for that indicator. In some cases definitions are still being finalized and will be posted as soon as complete.

Please note, sometimes when you click on a link within the report you may receive a message that prompts you to accept/confirm this action. By answering yes you will be able to proceed and access the information.
