7th Annual CGPS Pain Run & Walk
The Chronic Pain Centre at Richmond Road Diagnostic Treatment Centre is pleased to announce their collaboration with the Canadian Global Care Society to raise funds and increase awareness about chronic pain. The proceeds from this walk/run are donated to the Chronic Pain Centre and we purchase grocery gift cards for patients experiencing food insecurity and financial stressors.

KidSIM Centre
Pediatric Acute Care Education (PACE) for health care providers uses simulation education with a hands-on teaching approach. PACE courses include PALS, PALS Renewal, NRP and PEARS. For physicians, we also offer The Pediatric Airways Course. Custom group offerings are available. All learning takes place at the Alberta Children's Hospital. Submission Guidelines

AHS Delivered Events / AHS Partnered Events

AHS staff should submit their event information to webcomm@ahs.ca and include:

  • a title, date and location of the event along with a brief description (one to two sentences maximum)
  • a hyperlink to the event website or posted information, or an event poster
  • contact email address or phone number if one is not included in the above information
  • information if the event is available to everyone online or via telehealth

An event for the public should be discussed with your communications advisor as to whether or not it is suitable to post to a zone page as a public service announcement to be tweeted.
