Know your options so you can get the care you need when you need it. The best place to start is with Health Link at 811 or your family doctor.
But, there are other options depending on what you need:

Health Link

Family Doctor

Your best option for on-going health needs, most family doctors are part of a Primary Care Network (health professionals working together to coordinate your healthcare). To find a family doctor: Dial 811

Urgent Care Centres

Extended hour access for unexpected, non-life-threatening health concerns, such as broken bones, pain, infections and cuts.

Ambulatory Care Centres

Immediate attention for urgent, but non-life-threatening conditions, including sudden illness or injuries.

Family Care Clinics

Extended hours care, especially for those who need a family physician, have chronic diseases, or have addiction or mental health needs.

Services including: prenatal, health promotion, disease and injury prevention, and more.

9-1-1

9-1-1 is for serious, life-threatening emergencies that require an ambulance, such as chest pain, serious bleeding or trouble breathing. If your condition is not life-threatening, you may be re-directed to Health Link at 811 for more appropriate care.
