Public invited to meeting of local Health Advisory Council

FORT McMURRAY – Local and area residents are invited to attend a virtual meeting of the Wood Buffalo Health Advisory Council (HAC) on Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This is an opportunity to:

Public feedback will be shared with local Alberta Health Services (AHS) leaders to inform
their decision-making.

This meeting will take place via Zoom. To join, please e-mail community.engagement@ahs.ca with the subject line ‘Wood Buffalo’ and you will be sent the Zoom meeting link.

HACs play an important role in supporting the strategic direction of AHS by engaging members of their communities throughout Alberta in a respectful, transparent and accountable manner. Public participation is essential to improving the quality and accountability of health services. Working in partnership with AHS is an important way to ensure services are more responsive to the needs of those who use them.
