Water quality advisory lifted for Shorncliffe Lake

CZAR – Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the water quality advisory that was issued on July 24, 2023 for Shorncliffe Lake, located near by Czar, approximately 40 km west of Provost.

Water quality has returned to an acceptable level and the health risk is low for usage of the beach for recreational purposes.

As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake or reservoir, at any time.
