If submitting tissue specimens from multiple specimen sources on a patient, submit each specimen, in a separate specimen bag with a separate requisition. If a Chromosomal Microarray Analysis (CMA) will be also be requested, please refer to Cytogenetic Analysis, Microarray test directory page for specimen requirements. | ||||||||

Additional Test Information: | Amniotic Fluid - Karyotype If RAD testing is abnormal, karyotype testing will then be added on as a reflex test. If a sample is received with indicating a family history of chromosomal abnormality or follow up chromosomal analysis, karyotype testing may be performed at the discretion of the Cytogeneticist. Chorionic Villi
Chorionic Villi - Karyotype Chorionic Villi will also include RAD testing and karyotype testing, with the exception that karyotyping will NOT be performed on CVS specimens collected for single gene testing. Other Information
