Structured Notes are templates used to create documents in SCM. They present information in a predictable format and allow users to access it quickly and easily. Since Structured Notes are used by all clinicians (physicians, nurses, and Allied Health professionals), templates have a variety of functionality based on the clinician's role.

Let's walk through the steps of opening a Structured Note.

First, select your patient, Anita Water from the Patient List.

Click the Structured Note icon on the tool bar.                

The Document Entry Worksheet opens.
