Patient Identification is a critical component required to maintain accurate electronic health records and provide safe patient care. Demographic information that is used to identify each patient is grouped into two sets of data, Mandatory Data and Core Data.

 

A unique RHRN number is assigned by Clinibase to each patient.

 

 

Encounter Management involves accurately capturing each episode of care, which can be an inpatient or outpatient visit.

 

A new encounter number is generated for each episode of care (outpatient or inpatient).
