Contaminated water advisory lifted for Milk River at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park

LETHBRIDGE – Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the contaminated water advisory that was issued for Milk River at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park on July 22, 2016.

Water testing has confirmed that bacterial levels are now below maximum acceptable guidelines, meaning the water at the Milk River at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park is again safe for swimming and wading.

AHS will continue to sample this water as part of routine monitoring practices.
