Centre for Advancement of Surgical Education and Simulation (CASES) strives to operate interdisciplinary simulation enhanced learning programs to enrich the quality of perioperative patient care. While creating a space for trainees and practicing professionals to acquire, practice and integrate skills in a safe environment. Co-designed with academic/operational partners and content experts to provide relevant experiences.

CASES enables Alberta Health Services and our academic partners to become leaders in simulation-based medical education.

CAMIS (Centre for Advancement of Minimally Invasive Surgery) helped to lay the foundation for CASES and provide the framework to expanding simulation training to a comprehensive range of surgical specialties and clinicians.
