Early Childhood Intervention Program

The Program offers home-based support to families with children that have developmental delays or disabilities, aged 0-5 years of age.

The program offers:

  • information about development, behavior, play and parenting
  • connections to community resources and services
  • support to your family setting goals and planning for the future
  • collaboration with your child’s health team
  • services that are provided in various ways; in your home, in the community, virtual appointments or phone consultations

Turn East onto 57 St from 46 Ave (2A). Take first left. Left again into Parking Lot N. Walk past the Arts building on right. Ralph Klein Centre is straight ahead.

Eligibility

Children between 0-5 years old are eligible if:

  • you live within the Central Zone
  • you are wondering if your child is meeting developmental milestones
  • your child is experiencing or is at increased risk for developmental delays
  • the most appropriate service based on your child and family’s needs

Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.

Parents can self-refer. Healthcare providers, community agencies, pediatric rehabilitation services, doctors, and public health nurses can also refer.
