Diabetes Specialty Care

Provides teaching and support for adults and children with Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, Gestational Diabetes and Pre-existing Diabetes in pregnancy.

Offers Individual appointments for teaching and support which includes:

  • staying well with diabetes
  • how to manage diabetes
  • managing diabetes complications
  • insulin pump therapy

Group and individual sessions:

  • gestational diabetes (and Pre-existing Diabetes in Pregnancy)

Videoconference and teleconference sessions are available from Red Deer as needed.
