Pediatric Neuromuscular Disease Clinic

The Pediatric Neuromuscular Disease Clinic helps kids with muscle and nerve problems, called neuromuscular diseases, and supports their families.

The clinic offers:

  • advice, emotional support, and connecting families with other resources
  • therapy to help kids strengthen muscles and may suggest braces for better movement and comfort
  • help for families to get special equipment for daily activities
  • teaching for the child, family, and school about the disease, how it affects the child, and how everyone can help the child succeed

neurologists, occupational therapists (OTs), physiatrists, physical therapists (PT), registered nurses (RNs), social workers, respiratory therapists, respirologists
Eligibility

For children 0 to 18 years with a neuromuscular disease.
