Adult Convulsive Disorder Clinic

The Adult Convulsive Disorder Clinic (ACDC) helps adults with seizures that cannot be controlled with usual treatments. These seizures affect their daily life, like their activities, interactions, and how they feel overall.

ACDC provides treatment, teaching, support and resources for adults with epilepsy. They will:

  • check what type of epilepsy and other medical and social needs you have
  • make a medical plan with anti-epileptic medicine, including new medicines being tested
  • teach and talk with you
  • teach about pregnancy and epilepsy
  • offer help to your family and caregivers.

Anyone who needs surgery may be sent to the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program.
