Pregnancy and Infant Loss Program

An inpatient program to support parents and staff who have experienced the loss of a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or early neonatal death.

This program is designed to support and comfort inpatients and families who have expereinced the loss of a baby due to t miscarriage, stillbirth, or early neonatal death. As well, this program supports and coordinates education, standardization of processes, documents, and support for our staff to be able to support families experiencing pregnancy loss.

Eligibility

This program supports inpatients only at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Center as well as staff within in the central zone at rural hospitals.
