Provides service to separate or filter blood to take out harmful parts.Services may include: Plasmapheresis / plasma exchangePlasma is separated and taken out of whole blood and is replaced with donated plasma or another blood product. It’s used to treat a number of illnesses including immune system disorders. Red Blood Cell ExchangeRed cells are separated and taken out of whole blood and replaced with donated red blood cells. It’s used to treat sickle cell disease and other blood diseases. Leukapheresis / White Blood Cell DepletionTakes out white blood cells. It’s used to treat some types of leukemia.
