Pediatric Feeding / Swallowing Service

The Pediatric Feeding Swallowing Service offers help to children who have complex eating, feeding or swallowing problems.

The service offers help to children to:

  • be able to eat and drink safely
  • get the nutrition and fluids they need
  • have a positive eating experience with their family / caregivers

registered dietitians, occupational therapists, psychologists, radiologists, social workers, speech-language pathologists
Eligibility

Services targeted to children under 18 years of age:

  • with complex feeding / swallowing problems (dysphagia)
  • who have a neurological and / or developmental diagnosis
  • may or may not have nutritional concerns
  • with feeding tubes who do NOT meet the criteria for the Pediatric Home Nutrition Support Program
