Inpatient/Day Surgery Services - Pediatric

Provides day surgery services for children.

Offers day surgery services for children.

Children under 14 who need to stay in the hospital will have their surgery done at the Stollery Children's Hospital.

Emergency surgeries for patients under the age of 17 will be done at the Stollery Children's Hospital.

Surgical Day Ward open: Weekdays from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

5 East open: 24/7

Same Day Admit open: 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Eligibility

Service targeted to:

  • Children 0 to 17 years who are booked for day surgery
Referral Needed

You need to be referred by a doctor. Family doctors usually refer patients to a surgeon who books their surgery and admits them to hospital.
