Adolescent Medicine Clinic

 Location: Aberhart Centre

Adolescent Medicine clinic provides subspecialty consultation for youth age 12-17 years with complex physical and mental health concerns.

Adolescent Medicine consultation is a outpatient service available for youth age 12-17 years with complex concerns related to sexual health and contraception, substance use, adherence to treatment, developmental considerations for adolescents pre/post-transplant, transition to adult healthcare, long COVID/Post COVID Condition fatigue and mental health, and gender affirming care.

Assessment, consultation and / or short term treatment is provided by Adoelscent Medicine subspecialists, bridging the physical and psychosocial components of youth health. As required, a medical examination is incorporated into the assessment. Adolescent Medicine does not provide primary care services.

Entrance is located off University Avenue east of the Cross Cancer Institute south of Kaye Edmonton Clinic South and southwest of the University of Alberta Hospital. Many bus routes through area. LRT Health Sciences station nearby.
