General Pediatrics offers services for The RSV Prevention Program and Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Clinic for infants. Patients must qualify for the program through an Intake process.
RSV Prevention Program is for infants and young children who qualify for seasonal prevention against Respiratory Syncytial Virus. Your healthcare provider (Registered Nurse) will give the injection in a very child friendly environment, teaching and education will be given about other ways to prevent RSV and other viruses.
EHDI (Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Clinic includes screening, diagnostic evaluation, and communication back to the early intervention programs for infants that are five months old or less. Your healthcare provider (Licensed Practical Nurse) will perform the test on the infant which takes about 10 minutes. This is done in a very child friendly environment.
