Slave Lake Family Care Clinic

This service is an Alberta health Services run clinic to address primary care needs for residents of Slave Lake and surrounding area.

Family Care Clinics are an Alberta Government initiative to increase access to primary health care services for Albertans, particularly those who are under-served, need consistent access to a primary care provider or team, are otherwise not attached to a primary care provider or team or have chronic diseases and/or addiction and mental health needs.

Currently no weekend services due to provider shortage.

Eligibility

Services available to all Albertans who have healthcare insurance . If not insured by AB healthcare, payment is due when services rendered.

Wait Times

Daily walk-in appointments available.

Fees

Third party billing required for some services such as drivers medicals.

We have the ability to waive fees in extraordinary circumstances. This is dealt with on an individual basis.
