Group Care Program - Serenity House

 Location: Wetaskiwin and Area

A transitional supported living home with mental health rehabilitation programming for Adults with a serious mental illness.

This program provides:

  • a transitional supported living home with mental health rehabilitation programming for Adults ( 18 – 65 years old ) with a serious mental illness
  • program length is 6 months to a maximum of two years
  • the goal for each client is that they will ultimately be able to live independently within the community

All services provided to the residents at Serenity House adhere to the principles of recovery and the mental health rehabilitation model, and fall into the domains of rehabilitation, crisis intervention, advocacy rights, self-help, life skills, basic support and enrichment through improving the quality of life.

This service is provided by Alberta Health Services and Alberta Health Services contracted service providers.
