Pediatric Neurogenetic Clinic

This clinic helps children and families to understand how family history can shape a child's way of learning and growing as fast as their friends.

The Pediatric Neurogenetic Clinic does tests and gives advice to kids and families. They help figure out why a child might have problems learning or growing as fast as others. They also keep helping during tests and give information to everyone involved.

Eligibility

Children 0 - 17 years of age with queries about the genetic component of intellectual disability and developmental delay.

Service Access

Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.

This clinic only accepts referrals from Glenrose pediatric physicians.


Wait Times

The estimated time to the appointment is between 3 - 6 months if all pertinent information is received. This could be longer if we need to wait for test results.
