Obstetric Internal Medicine

The Obstetric Internal Medicine Clinic provides consultations focusing on the care of pregnant women with medical conditions.

The care of pregnant women with medical conditions include:

  • preconception counseling
  • optimization of maternal health status
  • assessment of the safety of medication use during pregnancy
  • management of complications throughout pregnancy

This clinic collaborates closely with obstetricians, maternal fetal medicine specialists, medical subspecialists and other allied health care staff to ensure women with medical conditions have safe pregnancies.
