Operational Stress Injury Clinic
Offers mental health services for veterans, Canadian Forces members, RCMP members, and their families.Assesses and treats service-related mental health problems caused by shock or stress for veterans, Canadian Forces members, RCMP members, and their families. Services include:
- comprehensive assessment and psychological therapy
- medication management
- counselling (one-to-one, couple, family)
- group therapy
This service helps people who have:
- post-traumatic stress disorder
- depression and other mood or anxiety disorders
- substance abuse problems
- issues with sleep
- anger, social issues, or workplace problems
- chronic pain

EligibilityFor veterans, Canadian Forces members, RCMP members and their families.
Referral NeededVeterans: Need to be referred by Veterans Affairs Canada. Call 1-866-522-2122, and ask to speak to an area counsellor.
RCMP and Canadian Forces: Need to be referred by their medical officer.
Service AccessHealthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.
Wait TimesTarget is admission within three months of receiving a referral. However, the wait may be longer depending upon current demand.
