IV Therapy

Provides comprehensive episodic care for ambulatory adults who need intravenous treatment, but do not need to stay overnight. Provides IV Therapy for outpatients who are able to mobilize independently or are accompanied by a capable caregiver.

Eligibility

Adults 18 years of age and older.

Service Access

Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.

Patients require coverage from a physician with admitting privileges to the Misericordia Community Hospital.

Incomplete referral forms will not be processed and will be returned to the requesting provider indicating missing required information.
