Acute Hand Clinic

Provides treatment for acute hand injuries.

Provides assessment, care (operative and non operative) and follow up for acute hand injuries/trauma including fractures and dislocations (reduced), tendons and nerve lacerations or trauma including amputations that require follow. For outpatients consultation and management by specialist hand surgeons.

The Acute hand clinic provides the following services:

  • assessment
  • surgery if required
  • follow up
  • x-rays
  • casting / removal of
  • dressing changes
  • removal of stitches
  • splinting
  • injections
  • education
  • specialty hand and upper limb
