GLA:D® is a group exercise and educational program developed in Denmark for people with symptoms of knee or hip osteoarthritis (OA).
GLA:D® is an eight-week program offered in a group setting with other Albertans living with osteoarthritis (OA). There are two education sessions followed by 12 supervised exercise sessions (twice / week).
The program is designed to teach Albertans about OA with an aim to reduce symptoms through a targeted exercises program. The program roll-out is led by the Bone and Joint Health Strategic Clinical Network (BJH SCN).
