Indigenous Wellness Core

This program partners with Indigenous peoples, communities and key stakeholders to provide accessible, culturally appropriate health services for First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples in Alberta.

The Indigenous Hospital Liaison provides a range of inpatient support services to Indigenous patients to support them to feel comfortable with the culture of the hospital and provides consultation and assistance to the healtcare team regarding service provision and appropriate accommodations of Indigenous health practices and beliefs.
