Acute Medical Sports Injury and Fracture Clinic

Provides acute management of non-surgical fractures of the upper and lower limbs for adults and pediatric patients.

Assesses and treats both adult and pediatric patients with the following acute injuries:

  • fractures not requiring emergent surgery
  • soft tissue acute sports injuries
  • ultrasound guided joint aspirations and injections

Also provides acute management of all sports related injuries including:

  • concussion (sports related only)
  • sprains
  • muscles strains
  • contusions

This clinic does not assess long-standing chronic injuries or chronic back pain, or neck injuries.
